At IMA, we want you to feel equipped to be your best self, at work and in your personal life. To reward IMA associates for their years of dedicated service, IMA’s Thrive and Revive Sabbatical Leave Plan provides paid time away to associates after 5 years of service.

This plan ensures associates are rewarded with ample opportunity to relax, recharge and pursue meaningful experiences.

  • All full and part-time associates working 20 or more hours per week qualify for the sabbatical program after 5 consecutive years of service.
  • For every additional five years served, associates will receive a new, increased sabbatical allotment at each milestone.
  • Rehired associates will begin accumulating years of service from their most recent rehire date; previous years served will not be factored towards the eligibility requirement.
  • New partner associates are provided various timing options for implementation of this benefit. Once implemented, partner associates’ years of service will be determined based on their continuous service, including tenure earned at the partner company and their subsequent service at IMA.
  • To ensure that associates have a meaningful sabbatical, a cash stipend will also be paid to those whose salary falls under the threshold of a highly compensated employee (HCE), $155,000 for 2024, as defined by the IRS. The threshold will be determined annually, taking into account a variety of economic factors, and the program will adjust to align with the current standard at the start of each calendar year.
  • Validated producers do not qualify for the cash stipend.
  • Part-time associates working 20 or more hours per week who achieve service milestones will be eligible for a prorated stipend. The duration of leave offered is not prorated. Eligible associates should contact their HR Business Partner for details.

Applications will be reviewed by the associate’s direct manager. While the specific timing may be negotiated, it is the expectation that sabbatical leaves be prioritized and accommodated within the year of the anniversary.
